It draws on the professional experience of its principal, Dr Shayne Silcox, PSM.

Dr Silcox is the principal of the Strategic Leadership Consulting Group. He has held CEO, senior management and Board positions in several industries, both in the private and public sectors. Dr Silcox has run organisations with annual budgets well over a $100 million, with physical assets of over $1.2 Billion and managed 800 staff. He is an experienced international organisational change consultant, working with small, medium and large organisations.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy – management and marketing, a Master of Commerce, a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, a Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management and Law, a Diploma in Engineering and a Certificate in Quality Technology.

Dr Silcox is an International Australian Business Excellence Evaluator and has personally taken an organisation to the stage of being recognised at Prize Level, the top business award in Australia and only the 3rd organisation in the last 30 years to achieve this level.

He has also been recognised as the AIM Leader of the Year, the Distinguished Officers Award and the prestigious LGMA Medal; the IPAAWA CEO of the Year, Commonwealth Australia Day Honours Public Service Medal; Western Australian Customer Service CEO of the Year; Institute of Company Directors Order of Merit, Human Resource Institute Prize and the Curtin Alumni Medal for academic excellence and leadership to the community.
